Safe Routes to School Public Open Forum

Oregon to hold a public open forum regarding the Safe Routes to School Travel Plan Update.

The City of Oregon will hold a public open forum on Monday, February 12 to provide an update on the Safe Routes to School Plan and solicit community input.

Community members will have the opportunity to discuss success stories and areas of concern with staff and the consultants developing the plan.

The meeting will be held at the following time and location:

Monday, Feb. 12, 5:30-6 p.m.
Oregon Municipal Building, 5330 Seaman Road

The City of Oregon is working with Oregon City Schools on the Safe Routes to School plan, which was last updated in 2008. The goal of the plan is to make it safer to get to and from Oregon schools and to encourage more students and faculty to walk, roll, and bike to get there.
