The Oregon Police Division is looking for a qualified candidate for the ACHIEVE Juvenile Diversion Program Coordinator position. This is a part-time, 20-hour per week, contract position. The ACHIEVE Juvenile Diversion Program seeks to employ a broad-based, comprehensive approach to juvenile delinquency and unruliness by applying the principles of restorative justice.

The position reports to an Oregon Police Sergeant and is responsible for working directly with the juvenile and their family to complete the multiple stages of the diversion program requirements. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in education, social work, sociology, or a related field and be able to build strong relationships with youth, their families, law enforcement and community partners. The candidate must have excellent all-around skills in communication, critical thinking, working independently, time management, and organization as well as a workingknowledge of Microsoft Office programs. The current rate of pay is $25 per hour. Due to this position being a part-time, 20 hours per week contract position, no health insurance or fringe benefits are offered.
