Attention Oregon Residents
Please be advised in an effort to keep our city beautiful, especially as we see an increase of visitors throughout the summer months, we ask that residents, businesses, and land owners within the City take time to cut their grass as well as trim along fence lines, planting beds, and rights-of-ways.
The week of June 30th through July 3rd, city inspectors will be driving throughout the city to identify properties that do not comply with the city ordinances related to tall grass and weeds.
We appreciate everyone’s efforts in maintaining their property and making our city beautiful .
Right-of-Way Mowing
We understand and appreciate that there are questions as to who is responsible for mowing certain property within the City of Oregon. We are here to help! The maps below show what areas that individual property owners are to mow and the areas that are the city’s responsibility to mow.
Using the color-coded key on the upper left-hand corner of the maps, areas that are identified as City Owned Property, Roadside Ditches, and Overpasses, will continue to be mowed by the City. Any other areas on the map are to be mowed by the owners of that property.
