City of Oregon Alerts
The City of Oregon is now using Lucas County Alerts for emergency, weather, and community notifications.
All users must sign up for the new alert system. Existing Oregon Alerts accounts will not automatically transfer.
By signing up for Lucas County Alerts, you can receive important notifications by phone, text message, and/or email. During registration, you can choose the types of alerts you want to receive, including City of Oregon alerts and weather alerts.
Weather alerts may include severe weather notifications such as tornado warnings, flash flood warnings, winter storm watches, and winter storm warnings. Some weather alerts are issued automatically by the National Weather Service, so the City does not control the date or time they are sent.
You may customize your alert preferences, add or remove specific alert types, and set quiet times for certain notifications. Tornado alerts may still be sent during quiet times.
This is a free service; however, standard message and data rates may apply. Alert delivery depends on external providers such as phone carriers and email services, so notification delivery cannot be guaranteed.
If you do not want to receive phone calls, text messages, or emails, you may download the Everbridge App to receive push notifications instead.
Questions about your account may be directed to the City of Oregon IT Director at itdirector@oregonohio.org.
