Oregon, Ohio resident SSGT. Jack W. Coy, was MIA/KIA on February 24, 1944. His remains were recently identified after 80 years. He was a tail gunner on a B-24 Liberator, with the 8th USAAF, 445th, 703rd. His plane was shot down over Germany, during mission “Big Week”, February 1944. September 2023, his remains were identified through DNA testing from family members. The family is bringing SSGT. Jack Coy home to be buried alongside his family here in Oregon, Ohio.

SSGT Coy’s family would be honored for family, friends, Oregon community, Military and Veterans, to come and honor Jack and our fallen heroes this Memorial Weekend.
