The cities of Oregon and Northwood collaborated to develop a Bike Plan that would assess how best to connect bicycle facilities between the two communities and to adjacent jurisdictions and their bike facilities.
The Northwood-Oregon Bike Plan summarizes all of the existing bike facilities that have been constructed over the years to provide access to neighborhoods, parks, recreational areas, schools, public facilities, and commercial/retail areas within the communities via active transportation. The bike plan also identifies needed improvements to complete gaps in the bike facility network and to coordinate connectivity between both Northwood and Oregon, as well as adjacent jurisdictions.
